On November 4, 2016, SiIvaGunner uploaded a rip titled "Theme Song - Caillou" which was composed by Jeffrey Zann and Worldcorp Enterprises. Luckily, on February 28, 2019, the channel was completely restored by YouTube. On January 4, 2019, the SiIvaGunner YouTube channel was taken down for the second time due to multiple reports of copyright infringement on his videos. Since the creation of this new channel, many more recurring themes were started, including the DK Rap. The channel's start of activity was met with much rejoice by the community. The first uploaded rips were based on the Metal Gear series. The new channel had a new profile picture, featuring an eyepatch and a horn, and a different channel description. The name referenced the fact that GilvaSunner's original channel was created in tribute to the original SilvaGunner. The new channel, SiIvaGunner, created by Tainic on March 5th, 2016 as a backup channel, replaced GiIvaSunner on April 12th. During that time, GiIvaSunner posted "#HighQualityVideoGameRIP" on Twitter. GiIvaSunner was taken down in April 6th, 2016 due to terms of service violations despite the fact that GilvaSunner had approved of the channel, the bait-and-switch nature of the channel and its similarities to the real Gilva led YouTube to take it down for deceptive content. Some memes have been started by the channel from recurring themes, such as Snow halation.
The channel had the same profile picture as GilvaSunner, occasionally changing it to match an event, and had a similar channel description. The very first upload on the channel was "Wild Pokémon Battle - Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire" (later reuploaded by SiIvaGunner here), which replaced the melody of the advertised track with "Meet the Flintstones", with an image swap of Grand Dad accompanying it. GiIvaSunner was a parody channel based on GilvaSunner and remixed video game music with various memes, with their uploads masquerading as the real GilvaSunner to trick those looking for the original songs. The channel was previously known as GiIvaSunner, which is the name of the original channel.

The channel was originally known as GiIvaSunner (pronounced " gee-vuh-sun-nr"), which started on January 9th, 2016. SiIvaGunner is a collective of various artists, such as Chaze the Chat and Xarlable, that make remixes of video game songs, as well as mashups (ostensibly called "rips") with various memes and other songs, attempting to trick unsuspecting viewers looking for GilvaSunner into clicking on one of their videos, similar to the concept of rickrolling. SiIvaGunner (pronounced " see-vuh-gun-nr") is a Dutch bait-and-switch parody channel based on the video game soundtrack ripper, GilvaSunner. I only upload high quality video game rips.
